Not even sure what this is (Toyota?), but I kinda like it... RHD, dually, crew cab, COE... anybody know what it says on the door?

Likely a JDM fire truck brought over. Almost certainly a Toyota.

Yup. I think its a fire truck. Look at the decorative work on the doors compared to this one:

Awesome! I knew someone would know. I’m always surprised at the car-spotting opportunities at this corner. But I can’t often get a photo...

They probably got it from Duncan Imports etc... My wife is Japanese so I just show her things, I lived there but I can’t read all the kanji.

Probably a local west coast importer (there are quite a few)
, but if they did
buy it from Duncan and drive it across the country, they have my utmost respect.

That, my fellow Oppo, is (I believe) a Mazda E-series from the mid 90s. The Japanese would know it as the Mazda Bongo Brawny...

Just discovered this thread. Yup, absolutely a Bongo Brawny. Grew up around these (just the cargo van version) in the family business, and had a couple of Bongos (including a 4WD with the awesome side graphic) as a family van.
